K & C Food Wholesale - Your Premier Destination for Fresh Seafood in San Jose

If you are looking for live seafood, this place is phenomenal. I went right before New Years so I missed out on a few things that sell out quickly, like cherry stone clams and a more diverse selection of oysters, but I got some beautiful blue point oysters, a lobster and some delicious uni (sea urchin. The best thing to do is go in on a box or 2 of oysters with friends for a dinner. They have a pretty wide selection of crab, muscles, clams etc and I was getting excited just walking around and seeing what they had. Will definitely be back!

Best place to get seafood and prepare it any way you want. It's very easy to miss this place. Got Kumamoto Oysters @ $80 for 5 dozens. Oysters were kept carefully and workers there were kind enough to give me a bag so the box wouldn't leak.

I just went here two minutes ago and purchased three live crabs at the 6.5 pounds on the scale and it came out to $85 for three of them. Earlier in the year, I purchased the same three crabs for 60 bucks. I think maybe its more expensive this time of year.

I am big fan of Google review because I’m lazy at best. I don’t need to go to a different site and download yelp. So when I look up K&C and saw the most recent review was a yr ago, I wanted to do justice. Truth to be told, I didn’t plan on hitting up K&C at all. Never been here. I woke up today aspired to grill some pork cheek (jowl). I have no idea how to grill anything but I aspired. Took me 30mins to get a good fire going on and my makeup was running down my cheeks from all the smoke. I smelled funny and sweat a storm . Coming inside, I found out my mum cooked all of my precious meat in the airfry. I wanted to jump off the building. K&C saved my life! For $80 box plus $3 credit card fee (or $5 fee if above $100), I got 59 fresh oysters because one dead and one escaped from the shell. I will figure out if it’s safe for me to eat so much oysters but hey, I got a good fire. Thanks, K&C.

Hidden gem at the north end of San Jose! This place is incredible! The sheer variety of live seafood they carry! Everything seemed to be reasonably priced and very fresh, still kicking in fact! I got Dungeness Crab, razor clams, spot prawns and little neck clams for a Memorial Day paella, all on Memorial Day afternoon! Quite a fun place to go. They have some live lobsters in there that are massive. Claws the size of your hand! Can't wait to go back and get some for the next BBQ!

Nice selection and prices - box of 60 Kumamoto oysters for $80. A lot of the employees don't speak great English.l but the woman working in the front was helpful. I was in and out in 5 minutes.
